Yardley launch Flowerazzi range and new perfumes
A few days ago I was invited to Yardley’s launch event for their new Flowerazzi range, where I also had the opportunity to find out more about their upcoming releases. The company is currently celebrating 250 years of fragrance, which is an achievement in itself, and they obviously have a keen eye on the future with a slew of revamps and new additions. They’re all good quality and they’re competitively priced too, so they’re worth checking out.
The Yardley London Flowerazzi bath & body range
This range of five new products is described as “an indulgent bathing range inspired by the restorative power of flowers,” and comprises a body butter, body lotion, hand cream, body scrub gel and body oil. It’s all priced between £5.00 and £7.50 and it’s in really bright and fun packaging so it would definitely work for gifting as well as pampering yourself.
They’re all packed with naturally derived ingredients, and formulated without parabens, colourants or silicones, and they’re cruelty free and suitable for vegans too. The fragrance is light, sweet and fruity-floral, with botanical magnolia and orchid extracts and a hint of vanilla and musk.
I’ve been quite impressed by the quality of the ingredients, including shea butter, aloe vera and almond oil, and especially like that the body oil doesn’t contain alcohol.
You can buy Flowerazzi products from the Yardley website (1/3 off everything this week), or it’s available exclusively from Superdrug on the high street (also 1/3 off).
New & relaunched Yardley fragrances
Their Traditional Florals range has been revamped and repackaged, and they’ve also launched a new range of Contemporary Florals that target a younger market. The contemporary fragrances include Bluebell & Sweet Pea, fresh Freesia & Bergamot, Blossom & Peach (my favourite), and the edgy Poppy & Violet which also contains notes of ivy and red pepper. Prices from £4.49 for a 100ml hand cream up to £14.99 for a large 125ml eau de toilette perfume.
They’ve also just launched two new fragrances as part of their Flowerful Collection, Exquisite Peony, a light and office-appropriate pink floral, and Opulent Rose, a true rose fragrance which also includes notes of fresh cut stems and a little white musk and amber. They’re relatively simple scents despite their names, but I found them to be longer lasting than the other eau de toilettes and very pleasant and easy to wear.
They join fresh Decadent Mimosa, woody-floral Elegant Iris, and tropical Luxe Gardenia. These are RRP £20.00 for 50ml, and can be found at Boots (£14.00 in offer), Amazon (prices £12.21 – £14.00) and Yardley London (currently £13.33 in offer, and best availability for the newer scents).
I also had the chance to look around some of their beautiful vintage packaging from the Yardley archive, and to chat to their lovely team about the new releases. It was a great evening and I really enjoyed sampling all the new products.
Disclosure: I was invited to attend the Yardley launch event with no obligation to write about it. All thoughts and comments are my own honest opinions.
