The best value supermarket rosé wine for 2025

NEWSFLASH: There’s a new guide to the Best Value UK Supermarket rosé wines in 2026 – CLICK HERE TO READ.
ORIGINAL ARTICLE: It looks like 2025 is going to be a great year for some of the best value supermarket rosé wine – here’s a guide to the top affordable bottles to pick up now.
All of these low priced rosé wines are award-winning, with many gaining multiple medals from the most prestigious organisations. [Not all awards are created equal, of course, so I’ve only included those with the best quality control and most highly-qualified testers.]
Since most of us are watching the pennies right now, most of my top picks are well below the £10 mark. You can still find a nice cheap rosé wine at just under £6.50 for an everyday tipple, for example.
There are a couple priced between £12 – £15 too, in case you’re looking for a bottle for a special occasion. Both are gold medal winners with multiple awards.
Which food goes with rosé wine?
There’s nothing quite like a lip-smackingly delicious bargain rosé wine to accompany your picnic, or garden get together.
You can pair most French rosé wine with salads, salmon, tuna and chicken dishes, or just serve well chilled as an aperitif.
There are also a few Spanish and Argentinian rosé wines included in this best value list with a more robust flavour, and sometimes a little spice. Try serving them with spicier meals, medium strength cheeses or charcuterie.
Most of these wines are supermarket own-brand, but others are available at multiple retailers. Many appear in regular offers, or are cheaper with Clubcard, Nectar and other loyalty cards – look out for those to get a bigger bargain.
Now on to my picks for 2025’s best supermarket rosé wines under £10. If you see something you like, snaffle it up soon, most are already proving very popular!
