Review: Sainsbury’s Home Fireside Collection

I don’t know about you, but I’m in the mood to spruce up my home for the festive season right now. One of my favourite home ranges from this year’s offerings is from Sainsbury’s, and I’ve started the December decorating with some of my favourite picks from their new Fireside collection.

What I like most about it is the mix of nature and a bit of sparkle, and the way it feels relaxed and cosy while still having a touch of glam. It’s also nice and wintery without screaming IT’S CHRISTMAAAAASSSS!, but of course I’ll be adding a tree and some twinkly lights in the next few days to make it fully festive.

The Fireside range from Sainsbury’s Home includes lots of accessories such as throws, cushions, candles and ornaments, and I think they’d fit nicely with quite a few different types of homes, from the modern to the more traditional. The prices are lower than you might expect, so you can easily create a very cost effective look and do so quickly.

You can find most of the main collection here at Sainsbury’s or pick much of it up in-store at larger branches of the shop. The green check throw and matching cushion are here, £11.25 and £9.00 respectively.

The berry faux floral is here (£11.25), and there’s a matching berry wreath candle holder that’s great too (also £11.25), as well as a coordinating 1.8m garland (£15.00) that I still have my eye on. The mercury bowl for pot pourri seems to have sold out but the lovely matching cinnamon and clove candles are in stock, £2.99 each.
