Penny Choose: Batiste Lace dry shampoo

This week’s treat for under £10 is the latest addition to the Batiste dry shampoo range. It’s handy for festivals, perking your hair up after a long muggy day in the office, and for up-dos when your hair is so squeaky clean it won’t stay inside the hairgrips.

This new version is called Lace, and essentially it’s their lightest scent yet, which is perfect for me as I don’t want my shampoo drowning out my perfume. It’s a very subtle floral musk, something that’s not going to become overpowering in warmer weather. I think it’s fair to say less is definitely more here with the fragrance, and I’ll be using this regularly through the summer months before going out in the evening.

Batiste Lace has just gone on sale in major chemists, priced £2.99 for a 200ml can which will last for a long time. The brand regularly has sales and promotions too, so look out for those.
