Penny Choose: Arora pink grapefruit shower nectar

Another goodie in my occasional series of tried and tested treats that all cost under a tenner. Today it’s time for a rather nice summery shower with Arora pink grapefruit shower nectar.

If you haven’t seen the Arora range before, it’s a fairly new (and slightly posh) range of bath and body products exclusive to Superdrug. There are six different fragrances, and the lightest, freshest one is Pink Grapefruit, which has extra notes of guava and shea in it.

None of the fragrances is a one-note wonder, which is a bit of a bonus and adds to the luxurious feel. My other favourite in the range is the chocolate espresso one, but that’s too heavy a scent for the warmer weather I think.

Anyway, it is a shower gel – sorry, I really can’t take the word nectar seriously – that’s got a great fruity fragrance, doesn’t dry my skin out, and lathers up in quite a luxurious way. If you try it for yourself and like it, there’s also a matching bath foam, a scrub and a body butter.

The shower gels in the range have an RRP of £3.99, which isn’t bad. They also regularly seem to have offers on them, so this week they’re two for £5.99.
