New Tenner Week starting, here’s the Sunday stocktake and schedule
Time for another Tenner Week Challenge – can you live on £10 for the week and still have a good time? This is a handy way to cut back temporarily on your spending, put your budgeting skills to the test, and maybe cut back on some waste by using up what you already have.
The simple rules are here if you’re new to this sort of challenge or you want to quickly refresh your memory.
Our theme this time around is ‘cosy up for the Autumn‘, so get ready for some comfort food and some snuggling up…
The schedule for the week is as follows:
- Monday: Comfort food menu plan
- Tuesday: Wardrobe maintenance
- Wednesday: Find your light
- Thursday: Pimp up your sofa
- Friday: Home entertainment curate & collate
- Saturday: Autumn walks and long reads
- Sunday: Wish lists and planning
Today’s ‘Sunday stocktake‘ activity is an optional start to the week, but it can be really helpful for getting organised. All you have to do is go round your home quickly, and make a note of everything you already have that you can make use of during the challenge.
If you’re in a hurry, just take a look around your stores of food and drink. If you have more time you can look for vouchers, store credit, fitness equipment, games, art materials and things to do.
I’m really looking forward to this one – any excuse to drink hot chocolate and wrap up warm! Will you be joining in?
