New Peacocks Spring/Summer collection
High street brand Peacocks didn’t catch my attention much last year, but their new Spring/Summer collection for 2025 is looking great. It’s also available in sizes 8 to 24, which is more inclusive than many similar ranges.

It’s billed as The Louise Redknapp Linen Edit, but don’t worry if – like me – you don’t aspire to look like a footballer’s wife. This is mostly low-key, relaxed pieces in breatheable fabrics that work great in a capsule wardrobe for warmer weather.
There’s a lot of emphasis on linen-blend trousers, bermuda shorts, jackets and tops, which would be good for lazy weekends or throwing in a case to go on holiday. The collection also includes denim jeans, jackets and waistcoats, and versatile cotton shirts.

There are plenty of waistcoats, cover-ups and jackets to choose from, and this £16 stripy knitted one, above, is one of my favourites.
There are also plenty of affordable sandals, shoes and trainers in the collection that’ll mix and match into plenty of outfits. I particularly like the tote bags and shopper bags for everyday practicality.
More new fashion at Peacocks this season
Aside from this ‘Louise Redknapp Linen Edit’, Peacocks have some excellent value 100% cotton t-shirts, vests and camisoles this season, all handy for making a capsule wardrobe work harder. Definitely worth a trawl, along with the cute summer dresses.
They’ve also put together an absolutely excellent collection of sunglasses priced between £4 and £6. Most look far more expensive than they actually are. I bought three different pairs, which is not something I usually do, but they’ll all be getting plenty of wear through the warmer months.
