Landon Tyler Citrus Grove home fragrance review

Review of Landon Tyler citrus grove home fragrance range scented candle reed diffuser

It’s difficult to find home fragrances suitable for the summer months as so many of them are too heavy or too sweet. However, I’ve recently had the chance to try out the new Citrus Grove range of fragranced candles and reed diffusers from Landon Tyler, and I think they’re brilliant value for money.

The range looks and smells much more luxurious than the price tags would ever suggest, including stylish gift boxes, sleek frosted glass holders that will blend nicely in with most decor, and strong, lasting fragrances.

The Citrus Grove blend is very clean and uplifting, with notes of lemon, grapefruit and bergamot. I also get a sort of ‘freshly washed linen’ smell in there as well. It’s perfect for those hazy, muggy days when you hanker after something that’s zingy and refreshing.

The RRP of the products range from £8 for the votive gift sets up to £12 for the larger three-wick candles (my personal favourite), which is considerably cheaper than many other similar ranges but without a drop in the quality of the wax or the perfume. For example, the single candles have a burn time of 40 hours, the same as pricier brands, and I think they’re made from soya wax as well.

These Citrus Grove items are a perfect pick-me-up for your living space, but I’ve also used them outdoors on rare non-rainy evenings and they seem to keep the bugs away too. They’d be useful for getting rid of cooking smells as well, without being too heavy or over the top.

I also think they’d make a nice present for a housewarming or someone who’s having a garden party, as they’re attractively boxed and would make great gifts.

They’re currently available at a number of retailers, but the best range and the best prices are currently to be found at Homebase. Their offers include prices of £3.99 on the three votive gift sets, £5.99 for a reed diffuser, and just £5.99 for the three-wick candles. Although not available for home delivery at Homebase, you can order them for free using the Click and Collect service and pick them up from your local branch.

If you try them out for yourself, please let me know what you think!
