HEMA picnic collection & plastic tableware review

HEMA plastic tableware picnic items plates melamine review

If you’re low on funds, that doesn’t mean you need to have a summer that’s low on fun, which is why today’s affordable, lovely treats are the 2015 picnic and outdoor dining goods from HEMA.

Nothing in the picture above costs more than £3.50, and much of it is at the £1 mark. There’s something for everyone, from monochrome to tropical brights, from plain fresh blues to vintage shades and patterning.

Most of the brighter coloured and patterned picnicware can easily be mixed and matched for an eclectic look, but I’m also quite fond of the more masculine, simple shapes of the black, white and grey items (perfect for an urban picnic, or showcasing your home cooking instead of upstaging it).

There’s more in the range than I can easily show you, but it includes cutlery, large and small plates and bowls, trays, beakers, acrylic glasses, salad sets, fruit and snack boxes, beach bags and picnic blankets.

I think you get a lot of bang for your buck, especially with the multipacks and the more designery vintage-look items.

They also have all kinds of BBQ and garden party goodies that you might like to have a look at, with prices from just 50p.

The main bulk of the outdoor dining goods are in the Picnic and Plastic Tableware sections of the HEMA UK website. If you choose carefully, you could put the contents of a fantastic picnic hamper together for well under £10.

What do you think of the HEMA 2015 picnic ranges? Any particular favourite items?
