That should give you plenty of ideas for little ways to show that you’re thinking about them. If you’re completely flat broke, you could offer to help them out with time and support, such as babysitting, gardening or decorating, maybe creating a homemade voucher to hand over.
For friends who are having sleep problems, consider a practical gift such as a silent or ‘sweeper’ alarm clock that doesn’t tick or put out lots of bright light into their bedroom. It’s better than relying on a smartphone, which can then be turned off earlier in the evening for better relaxation. If they have trouble waking up on dark mornings, they might prefer a Lumie Bodyclock Starter 30 Wake-up Light Alarm Clock, which wakes you up gently with an increasingly strong light. These have an RRP of £59.95, but you can find them cheaper if you shop around – currently the best deal is £39.99 at I Want One of Those.
Consider getting them a spa experience for a change of environment and some pampering. There’s up to to 60% off treatments, spa days and short breaks at Lastminute at the moment, with something to suit most budgets. Check out deals near you.
Do you know anybody who’d like some of these lovely things? Happy gifting!
