Five things I’m loving this week: 23rd Feb 2018
Another week, another little collection of sweet treats and goodies that have caught my eye.
Let’s start with the Whittard Rhubarb Punch tea, £6.50 from Whittard or John Lewis. A caffeine free premium tea that’s deliciously fruity and can be drunk either hot or cold. A bit on the pricey side, but one of these temple bags is enough for a standard size teapot so it works out better value than you think.
Next up we have the black padded lace-trim crop top from Matalan, £6.00, also available in white. Wide straps that don’t dig in, no scratchy seams, clips or hooks, and basically it’s your perfect lounge/weekend bra. Super comfy, looks nice on and it’s a good price.
e’lifexir Fitness body contouring gel, £15.99 from Holland & Barrett. This is a real treat, a cream gel designed to follow your post-exercise shower. A little goes a long way, and it’s just the right consistency for a firm massage to boost those tired muscles and hydrate and condition the skin, improving its appearance. Contains caffeine, dragon eye extract and black elder, and has a light, refreshing citrus-herbal fragrance.
Then it’s on to Collection Lip Colour SPF 15 in Berry Blush, £3.99 from Superdrug. It’s also £1 off at Wilko this week, if you have a shop near you. A bit of shine, some lightly moisturising flattering semi-sheer colour, and a decent amount of SPF for less than four quid. There are a few other colours in the range too, including a nude, a pink and a red if that’s more your thing, but the berry is really pretty and easy to wear.
And last, but not least, it’s an oldie but goodie that’s on special offer this week: Boots Essentials mega hold hair mousse 200ml, currently £2 for two. Bargain-tastic! As good as the top price stuff but as affordable as it gets. Stock up while it’s even cheaper than usual…
Seen anything you like this week? More coming up in a few days.
Full disclosure: products are a mixture of PR samples and things I’ve purchased myself.
