Five things I’m loving this week: Mid September
Time for a few affordable treats, and this week they’re all on a slightly autumnal theme – so let’s cosy up and see what’s in my roundup of the best goodies. As always, most of them are under £10, and anything above that represents excellent value for money.
Asda Natural Check Faux Fur Collar Coat, £30. The fake fur collar is removable, and I personally like it better without. A chic catwalk inspired coat in black and tan at a very good price. Snap one up before they all sell out.
Superdrug Simply Pure hydrating serum, £2.99 for 50ml. I’m using this again now the weather’s changing. They’ve been making this for a few years and it outperforms many other serums that are ten times the price. It’s a sophisticated product that’s so much more than hydrating: it’s lightly moisturising, actively soothing, and with skin-replenishing phytosphingosine and ceramides.
Sainsbury’s Home ‘Rural Retreat’ cedarwood & spiced plum animal candles, pack of 3 for £7.50. A lovely warming fragrance, rustic looks, and rich muted colours to brighten up your living space. Some of the rest of this new collection verges into Laura Ashley territory but these simple candles totally hit the spot for me, and I especially like the matching sofa / bed throw that goes with them.
Dunelm limited edition Modern fruit pear cushion, £8.00. A lovely comfortable filled cushion with a linen blend cover in attractive autumnal shades. You can rely on Dunelm to give you good quality and interesting design at low low prices when it comes to soft furnishings and this is no exception. Part of a fab new range of cushions that would all look fantastic grouped together on your sofa.
HEMA ‘Love’ burgundy velvet sleeping mask, £2.00. Yes, you did read that correctly, this decadent night mask with its gold embroidery is only £2.00. I love it.
Are you changing up your skincare, home decor or clothes this week like I am? Which one of the treats above is your favourite?
