Five things I’m loving this week: Late Feb 2019

Time for a little break and a small affordable treat or two! Things are beyond crazy in the UK right now, so we could all do with some self care and a time out. Here’s what’s been bringing a smile to my face in the last few days.

Gregory’s Tree Blueberry & Raspberry Double Fruit Twists | 65p in store at Morrisons, or 69p in store at Whole Foods, these new snacks are just right for a sweet bite, and they’re made from fruit juice and no added sugars or other nasties. The flavour is delicious. Or buy online for 68p at SuperfoodsMarket.

Essence Kiss the Black Sheep lipstick | £2.00 at Wilko, I know it’s called a lipstick but it’s more accurate to call this a colour-changing balm stain. It’s black in the tube, but it the pigment reacts with your skin to give a deep pink tint. This turns a deep muted rose on me, and I really like it. There’s a faint fruit flavour that’s not too strong, and it lasts about for hours or so before needing to be reapplied. Buy here.

Essence Eyebrow Styling Set | £2.50 at Wilko, great little kits featuring two different shades of eyebrow powder, a brush and a set of brow templates. Available in Brown or Blonde colourways. Buy here.

Ines de la Fressange fisherman boat neck striped jumper | £24.90 at Uniqlo, a versatile cotton blend jumper for a touch of chic at a great price. The whole collection is great this time around, well worth a look for easy designer style at high street prices. Buy here.

Wilko windowsill tray propagator | £4.00 at Wilko, a handy tray with five removable inserts, a total of 30 cells for starting off your seedlings, and a lid to get the germination process off to a good start. Good for anyone who wants to get a headstart on growing their own food this year. Buy here.
