My decadent winter boho glam wish list
If you’ve finished all your Christmas shopping, you’re allowed to buy yourself a little treat or two, right? Well, that’s what I always end up deciding anyway. Ahem. Seeing as I’ve been pulling out all the stops by finding a hundred and one fabulous bargains for everyone in the last few weeks, I’m going to have a breather today and pick out some nice goodies for myself.
My winter wardrobe is looking a bit bare at the moment, so I picked out a beautiful wear-everywhere boho dress that could be spiced up with heels and dressed down with flats, and built an outfit up from there. So, Santa Baby, if you’re listening, here’s my wishlist…
Banana Republic Tie-Neck Floral Maxi Shirtdress, reduced to £59.99 – £82.99 in the sale. Ergmahgerrrd, this is gorgeous, isn’t it? I could see myself wearing this to death from boardroom to bar. If you’re on a tighter budget try the floral crochet jersey midi dress, £32 at Very, or the Frankie high neck floral dress at Boohoo in black or burgundy, £25.00.
e.l.f. Beautifully Bare Lipstick in Touch of Blush, £6.00. Flattering satiny colour that’s perfect for the winter months, and a formulation that’s as good as any lipstick twice the price. Also available from the manufacturer.
Tiffany & Co Eau de Parfum 30ml, RRP £52.00. This entire blog was partly inspired by the antics of Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany’s, so it’s kind of ironic that I’ve never liked a single Tiffany perfume (until now, that is). Their new ‘Tiffany & Co’ namesake EDP is a sophisticated, grown up iris fragrance and I can’t get enough of it.
Marks & Spencer Leather Side Zip Pointed Ankle Boots, £69.00. Gorgeous, wearable real leather and suede ankle boots, with Insolia soles. Quite rare to get a nice pair of leather boots under £70 these days, so these are quite a steal.
Accessorize Mismatch Cut Out Slinky Earrings, £10 at Very (also at Littlewoods). These are fantastic for the price, and look so much more expensive than they really are.
Mint Velvet Lea Leather Clutch Bag in bordeaux, £99.00. The perfect mid-sized shoulder bag for weekends and relaxed nights out, in this season’s burgundy red.
That’s it from me for wishlist season, although I’m sure I’ll be hankering after a few beautiful things in the January sales in due course. Shall I buy the dress?
