Christmas gift guide: Unisex & gender free gifts

There are so many ‘gifts for her’ and ‘gifts for him’ articles already out there it’s a refreshing change to look at something less stereotypical – so step forward my unisex gift guide, for your gender free / gender neutral / ungendered shopping pleasure.

Think about it. There are so many gifts that have nothing to do with gender. A bottle of wine is rarely seen as a gendered gift, neither is a good quality bottle of, say, rum or most other spirits and liqueurs, or a nice box of chocolates. Yet these are the things we’re most likely to turn up with when getting something special for our host / hostess / hostx* when we visit them.

And now, without further ado, it’s on to the gaww-juss gifts, henny!

*Yes, I did just make up a new word there, and I kind of like it.

Alternatively, if your friend or loved one likes a drink, you can pick up some great offers on wines and spirits at The Whisky Exchange and 31 Dover right now. I’ve used both of those companies to track down interesting gift drinks and had good customer service, so I’d happily recommend either of them.

Do you like buying and receiving unisex gifts? I really love a lot of the unisex fragrances.
