Here’s my pocket-friendly guide to the best value supermarket rosé wine for 2026. It includes the top affordable bottles to pick up this summer and beyond, and they’re mostly easy-drinking everyday bargains.
Nearly all of these top picks are well below the £10 mark, even though they’re becoming less easy to find due to rising costs. You can still find a nice cheap rosé wine in this price bracket if you look hard enough – and I’ve done the hard work for you!
When I talk about ‘supermarket rosé wine’ this includes both the best value supermarket own-brand wines and the affordable commercial brands sold through various supermarkets and wine merchants. Best of both worlds.
All of these low priced rosé wines are award-winning, with many gaining multiple medals from the most prestigious organisations. [Not all awards are created equal, of course, so I’ve only included the most reliable awards bodies.]
This year’s batch of medal winners contains all kinds of diverse terroirs and grapes, and there are some great summery treats to be had in 2026. Top offers such as Clubcard and Nectar prices also appear from time to time, so if you see a really good deal be sure to snap it up before it sells out.
Food pairing suggestions for rosé wine
Pick up a fresh, delicious bargain rosé wine to accompany your picnic, or garden gathering. Drink it well chilled on its own, or serve with light bites and nibbles.
Location, or terroir, has an influence on potential food matches, and so do the grape varieties. For example, you can pair most French rosé wine with salads, salmon, king prawn, tuna and chicken dishes, as well as an aperitif.
There are a few Spanish and Chilean rosé wines included in this best value list that have stronger, slightly savoury flavours, and sometimes a little peppery spice. Try serving them with spicier meals, smoky BBQ food, medium strength cheeses or charcuterie.
