Best value supermarket champagne for Christmas 2023

If you’re looking for a cheeky – and reliably tasty – bottle of cheap champagne, you’ve come to the right place. Here’s my guide to the best value supermarket champagne for Christmas and New Year!
Some of the most famous champagne houses in France are behind the own-brand offerings in UK supermarkets, and there are so many truly excellent quality bottles to try this year. For example, I think this is the first time ever I’ve seen a supermarket win two gold medals for one of its champagnes, and there are several other multi-award winners coming up.
There are some great offers at the moment too, so let’s start by popping the cork on some delicious non-vintage champagnes, then move on to a bit of bargain vintage fizz and a couple of nice rosés.
NON-VINTAGE CHAMPAGNE: Best of the best for 2023
This is easily the most popular type of champagne in the UK, and usually comes with a lower price point than the vintage varieties. It’s also the type most likely to be included in supermarket seasonal offers and multi-buy deals, and I’ve included some of those for you too.
There are quite a few award winners in the non-vintage category this year, and these always tend to sell out fast so don’t sleep on it if you see any deal that you like the look of.
