ANNOUNCEMENT: We have a new site!

Hi everyone, it’s time for a little announcement – we have a new site up and running, and it’s called Golightly Gardens. I’ll be moving more of my food and drink, seasonal foods and gardening content over there in the next few weeks, as well as ironing out the few remaining glitches, but do please get over there right now and have a good look around.

There will be regular articles about what to eat each month (whether you’re buying it or picking it from your own garden), what to sow, how to grow it, and how to get the very best out of a kitchen garden when you’re growing on a budget. If there’s anything you’d like to see more of, please email me or leave a comment and let me know.

Golightly Gardens is also on Twitter (follow for top tips, events and all the latest garden and food bargains) and we’ve just joined facebook too (so a quick ‘like’ would be very much appreciated if you have a spare two seconds). There’s also going to be a monthly email about seasonal foods, recipes, money-saving tips, garden reminders etc, which you can sign up for using this form.

We will also be looking for sponsors and competition prizes, so if you work in any of the following areas and can help us out, please get in touch ASAP:

  • Seeds and plants
  • Garden equipment and accessories
  • Home and garden
  • General food and drink
  • Recycled or eco-friendly products

This site (pennygolightly.com) has won a makeover, courtesy of WooThemes and the London Bloggers Meetup. As much as I love this theme it is time for a change to keep up with technology, so the site’s turning 4 and booking itself in for a facelift. Please bear with us if the site goes a bit wobbly during mid-April, but we’ll be back soon with loads of goodies, promise.
