Jez Butterworth’s production of Jerusalem has been getting rave reviews, and is playing at the Apollo Shaftesbury, Shaftesbury Avenue, W1D until 24th April. If you go through certain ticket agencies it works out very expensive, but if you drop by the box office in person next time you’re in town then you can get yourself a fantastic deal, as I discovered yesterday.
Buy tickets on the day for just £10, or ‘pay what you can’ for a balcony seat. My top tips for getting an even better deal: be really polite to the box office staff to get the best seats, and check the TheatreMonkey website before purchase so you can avoid specific seat numbers with restricted views or severe lack of leg room.
