Just a quick post to let you know about a limited special offer for an interesting theatre event. As you might know, I recently reviewed and enjoyed the stage version of The King’s Speech at Wyndham’s.
Next week, on Wednesday 25th of April there is a special evening performance of the play which includes a Q & A session afterwards with Mark Logue (Lionel Logue’s grandson) plus actors Charles Edwards and Jonathan Hyde. It was Mark who discovered Lionel’s diaries revealing the extent of Lionel’s friendship with Bertie, so it should make for a very interesting evening.
Tickets for this event are priced at £29.50 for Penny Golightly readers, and can be booked via this link. They usually cost £52.50 without the extra talk, so it’s a very nice offer – don’t leave it too long if you’re interested as they’re bound to be snapped up.
