It’s the last day of our week of decluttering and cleaning. How are you doing? I’ve been getting the kitchen organised, and here’s today’s mini Spring Clean.
Please excuse today’s picture, all that spice has brought on one of my sporadic bouts of mischief.
Ahem. Now then on to the simple declutter du jour (yes, there might have been some inhalation of herbes de Provence during proceedings – anyone else got the munchies?)
Today, set a timer for 10 minutes and sort out your spice rack, and any kitchen herbs and other flavourings.
- Clean whatever you keep your seasonings in and dry fully
- Sort though the herbs and spices – are they out of date? If so, bin them.
- Get any surviving jars cleaned up and wiped down
- Replace the jars and bottles, making the most-used ones easiest to reach
That’s it. You might now find yourself inspired to make a chilli, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
